New ksqlDB cluster provisioning is delayed for all regions in Confluent Cloud. ksqlDB performance on a few provisioned clusters are also degraded.

Monitoring

We have fixed the issue, and are now monitoring to be sure it does not recur. As of Jan 8th 11 PM UTC, customers should see normal operations with Confluent systems.

Investigating

We are currently investigating an issue where new ksqlDB cluster creation fails. Some of the ksqlDB clusters that are already provisioned are also experiencing performance degradation. This issue started on Jan 8th at 2 PM UTC.
